One really great way to see Nevada City is by bike. We have many bike friendly trails and two amazing bike shops. Tour of Nevada City allows you to rent a bike.
Their store offers biking clothes, wheels, helmets, shoes, and other necessary gear.

Both bike stores have a repair shop where you can take your bike to be fixed.

If you are want a longer ride -anywhere from 10-40 miles- some possible trails to explore are the Allison Ranch Loop, the LeMond Loop, the Indian Springs, the McCourtney Loop, the Bridgeport loop, the Bitney Springs Loop or the Old Donner Pass Road.
