Downtown Nevada City is ready for Christmas. Our old Victorian houses are strung with twinkling lights. Starting down in Robinson Plaza, home of the Nevada City Chamber, a grand christmas tree sprinkled red and green and topped with a glittering snowflake stands proudly. Beside it the historical wheel is strung with rainbow lights. Journey up from the plaza to the Methodist Church which is outlined with golden stars. Just past the church, continue to observe Broad Street Inn and then cross and walk up the street. Soon you’ll come across rows Victorian houses with festively lit lights and decorations. Nevada City is beautifully lit for Christmas, come enjoy it before it’s over because Christmas is coming very soon.
