November Events

November kicks off  Nevada City’s busy holiday season. Early November visitors may still be able to catch the last of our beautiful Fall Colors display. Holiday lights begin to appear and a festive atmosphere fills the town. It’s a great time to come enjoy the beauty of this season. The Broad Street Inn would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Here are of few of the events happening in November –

Paul Emery presents Our Town.  Directed by Sandra Rockman.  Nevada TheatreOct 11-13, Oct 18-20 Oct 25-27 Nov 1-3.  Showtimes 7 pm Thursdays, 8 pm Fridays, 2pm and 8pm Saturdays.  Tickets $15 Thursdays, $20 Fridays and Saturdays.

The Food and Film Series, presents The Thin Man, presented by Miners Foundry and the Nevada City Film Festival, on November 16 at the Miners Foundry. Doors open at 7:00pm, film at 7:30pm, and dinner to follow. Food is available for purchase along with a full bar. Tickets are available at www.minersfoundry.org or The Nevada City Box Office at 530-265-5462. Tickets are $12 for Miners Foundry & Magic Lantern Film Society Members and $15 for non-members and include one drink ticket.

Sierra Stages presents Assassins, playing 10/25-11/17 at the Off Center Stage

Country Christmas Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. November 23 & 24 10am to 5 pm and November 25 10am to 4 pm. Admission $4, children under 12 free. Gifts, music, food, entertainment, Santa and his elves will be on hand.
